Vincent Foster. I’m just saying.

So, Hillary’s campaign is in a freefall. I am glad for this, as I absolutely despise all things Clinton. I am not a huge fan of Barack Obama, but anything is preferable to another Clinton in the White House. As a Libertarian, my vote went to Ron Paul. Even though I knew he had a slim chance of getting the nomination, I had to vote my conscience in the primaries. But I digress.

People are starting to worry about the safety of Barack Obama. I am assuming this is because he identifies himself as an African American, even though his mother was white. His mother, incidentally, died of ovarian cancer in 1995 at the age of 52. Anyway, people are worried aboutassassination attempts, which I think is a valid concern in any presidential election cycle, andparticularly in times such as these. As much as we would like to believe that Americans can behave themselves, a lot of them can’t, and therefore I think the extra security measures Barack Obama is enjoying are totally merited and justifiable. I for one have absolutely no problem with a black man being President. I do, however, have a huge problem with a woman (and especially Hillary Clinton) becoming President. I’m getting somewhat off track here, but bear with me.

When/if Barack Obama wins the Democrat nomination, it would be in his absolute best interests, as well as in the interests of his personal safety if he wins the Presidential election, to NOT ask Hillary Clinton to be his running mate. As we all know, if anything happens to the President, the Vice President assumes the position. Given the past track record of the Clinton camp, this would not allow me to sleep well at night if I were Mr. Obama. Or his wife.

I’m just saying.

It’s too funny, so I won’t erase it. Somehow some button got clicked up there.

Quote of the Day

February 8, 2008 · Leave a Comment

“The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which to burn.”
-David Russell

You know, sometimes you just have to write people off. They bring nothing but drama and controversy everywhere they go. I like to remain drama-free, so I tend to cull those people from my association with the quickness. I’ve had some instances in my life, one fairly recently, where I have had to just tell myself that I’m done with someone. And when Nix women are done with you, we are DONE. We’ll still be nice to you if we are forced to interact, but that’s about the extent of it. It’s kind of nice to be able to do that. I tend to not get overly attached to people, which is strange, but it makes it easier to move on when someone tries to bring you down. You just say, “I’m done and did” and that’s it.

Does that make me weird? I get more and more like a robot every day.
