Legalese

This is my blog.  I have gone through several over the past five or six years.  I am indecisive.  I always think that a blog will stick, but for some reason it never does.  Oh well.  I guess eventually I will get tired of changing hosts.  Maybe now is the time.

My dear husband and I live in Lawrenceville, Georgia (about 18 miles northeast of Atlanta).  I work for a law firm in Midtown, and he is a district manager for The Evil Empire.  We have two dogs weighing in at 70 pounds apiece, and one 13-year old longhaired tabby cat who sporadically gets just sick/injured enough to be a drain on our bank account.  Last year he was constipated at $600, and just recently had some sort of toothache which cost $560.  I swear I am taking him to the taxidermist when he dies.

We currently have no children, but certainly not for lack of trying.  I am hoping that my OB/GYN and the help of modern pharmaceuticals will change that very soon.  Hoping, wishing, and praying.

I enjoy music (listening and making), books (long, short, fiction, historical, religious, philosophical, you name it), film (artsy, documentary, lowbrow comedy, all sorts, really), television (LOST, The Office, The Tudors, all of it, generally), politics, talk radio, and pop culture.

I am a Christian, previously devout, formerly backslidden, and currently reforming.
